It is that time of year again!  For most of us the hustle and has begun.  I just heard on the news today that women feel much more stressed during the Holiday season than men!  Wow. What can we do to control our stress?  For one thing, don't aim for perfection.  Most of us, ladies, love and strive for perfection.  But when we have many, many chores and obligations to accomplish, perfection can lead to exhaustion.  It is wonderful to bake cookies, build gingerbread houses, hand craft gifts and more.  But if you get sick or feel on the edge of an anxiety attack you haven't enjoyed the spirit of the season.  And this is the season of joyousness and light.  Why spoil your opportunities for joy?  If you need to, buy rather than bake.  Look for easy gifts already wrapped.  Give special people IOU's on your handcrafted items and take your time during the winter to make them.  And don't be afraid to delegate chores.  Let your children decorate the tree or make the Chanukah decorations.  They'll be happy, even if something is lopsided.
